Note that there are a lot of Accident & Emergency (A&E) Departments all across the country and in different cities. Sometimes it is way faster and more beneficial for a person who has suffered life-threatening injuries or serious illnesses to be driven to the nearest station. Just remember to drive carefully and not put others in danger!
If you want to know more about A&E departments and when it would be wise to transport someone to it by yourself, follow the link below:

What to do if it is a non-life threatening emergency? – Call 111
When should I call 111?
- If you consider it is not a 999 emergency, you can always call 111 to get fast medical help
- If you have the feeling you or another person needs help from a A&E or any other NHS service
- If you don’t have a GP or you just simply don’t know who else to call
- You don’t know what to do next in a medical setting or just need reassurance
