Buy Ventolin Inhaler & Accuhaler
Ventolin (blue) Salbutamol Inhalers
Ventolin inhalers (commonly referred to as the “blue” inhalers) are a safe and effective treatment option that relieves the symptoms of breathlessness and wheezing that are associated with asthma.
What are Ventolin inhalers and what are they used for?
Ventolin inhalers are used for short-term relief of asthma and can also be used to stop asthma symptoms from occurring after exercise. The active ingredient is salbutamol, which can dilate airways and ease breathing within five minutes.  The two versions of Ventolin inhalers available are the Accuhaler and the Evohaler. The Accuhaler is a plastic device that contains a 60-blister strip. Each of these contains a 200mcg dosage that combines microfine salbutamol and lactose. The Evohaler is a pressurized metal device – each inhalation contains 100mcg of salbutamol. The propellant used in the Evohaler is HFA-134a, which is much less harmful to the environment than older propellants. Each of these inhalers will provide relief within one or two doses.
How does Ventolin work?
Salbutamol-base inhalers, which include Ventolin, are referred to as relievers. These are used when necessary to relieve the symptoms of asthma. Ventolin can also be used preemptively if you are exercising or are around something that can trigger your asthma. Mild asthma is often treated with just a reliever inhaler but can also be used alongside a preventive inhaler.  Salbutamol is referred to as a short-acting beta 2 agonist. Beta 2 is responsible for relaxing the muscles in the airways and relieves the symptoms of breathlessness, coughing, and chest tightness associated with asthma.
What is asthma?
Asthma is a condition that affects roughly 8 million people in the UK. It involves inflammation of the tubes that connect the windpipes to the lungs (the bronchi). Inflammation, swelling, and excess mucus all combine to narrow the airways and lead to breathlessness, coughing, wheezing, and other symptoms associated with asthma.  People's experiences with asthma vary, some develop it as children and then later grow out of it. However, asthma can affect anyone, no matter their age or sex. It’s not directly understood what causes asthma, but there are potential genetic and environmental causes.
Alternatives to Ventolin
There are no over-the-counter alternatives to Ventolin. If you believe your asthma medication is not effective or you want to switch inhalers, you should speak to your doctor or GP and ask them to evaluate the effectiveness of your current treatment.  If your asthma is severe, you should immediately speak to your doctor, as other treatments can help keep your asthma under control.  You should have regular check-ups or reviews with a doctor to evaluate if you’re asthma is getting more under control or not.
Buy Ventolin instructions
Ventolin inhalers should be used as necessary to relieve the symptoms of an asthma attack. They can also be used 20 minutes in advance of exercise or before exposure to a trigger or allergen (if you’re aware of it).  The recommended dose is one from the Accuhaler or two from Evohaler. Do not exceed eight puffs in 24 hour period. If you’re using your reliever inhaler more than three times a week it could mean your asthma is not under control.
